On September 29, 2023, Mariane Alves de Souza's public presentation of her Master's Dissertation took place. She is a member of GEHEF and the Sports Memory Center - CEMESP/Unimontes. Her dissertation was approved with merit. It is titled "'A meter and sixty-three and fifty kilos of good girl': bodily representations of the young Brazilian woman in 'Garotas' d'O Cruzeiro (1938-1964)", and was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ester Liberato Pereira, leader of GEHEF.
The examining committee consisted of Professors: Prof. Dr. Rafael Dias de Castro, professor at the Department of History and the Graduate Program in History (PPGH) at the State University of Montes Claros (Unimontes); and Prof. Dr. Daniela Barsotti dos Santos, professor at the Graduate Program in Psychology (PPGPsi) at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG).
