GEHEF Researchers Present Papers at Unimontes International Congress on Education and Innovation

As part of the programming of the I International Congress on Education and Innovation (CIEI): Digital Education - transforming people and places - at the State University of Montes Claros (Unimontes), GEHEF was represented by undergraduate and master's students presenting partial or final results of their research.

GEHEF was represented by:

  • Daniely Santos Ramos Costa, FAPEMIG Scientific Initiation scholarship holder, who presented her work entitled "Army Riding School: the influence of the French Military Mission on Brazilian land military doctrine (1919-1940)";

  • Daniely Santos Ramos Costa, FAPEMIG Scientific Initiation scholarship holder, who also presented her work entitled "Operation Cowboy: the union of soldiers to save the Lipizzaner horses in World War II (1944-1945)";

  • Guilherme Carvalho Vieira, master's student at PPGH/Unimontes and FAPEMIG scholarship holder, who presented his work entitled "Flying Horses: pulse is pulse, hoof is hoof": horsemanship and the military, from the French Military Mission to the Olympic Games (1940-1950)";

  • Guilherme Carvalho Vieira, master's student at PPGH/Unimontes and FAPEMIG scholarship holder, who also presented his work entitled "Riding and remembering: social representations of horseback riding in the northern region of Minas Gerais (2005-2020)";

  • Jéssica Fagundes Sales, FAPEMIG Scientific Initiation scholarship holder, who presented her work entitled "The history of animal rights and the well-being of horses in equestrian sports in Brazil";

  • Lucas Matheus Araújo Bicalho, UNI BIC Scientific Initiation scholarship holder, who presented his work entitled "The legacy of the horse: equestrian symbolic representation in military trophies and medals";

  • Lucas Matheus Araújo Bicalho, UNI BIC Scientific Initiation scholarship holder, who also presented his work entitled "The legacy of Geraldo Brandão: memories of chess in Montes Claros in the 1980s."
