Master's Thesis Defense: The History of Brazilian Olympic Equestrian Sports (1940-1960)

On June 7, 2024, Guilherme Carvalho Vieira, a member of the Study Group on the History of Sport and Physical Education / Unimontes-MG (GEHEF) and the Center for Sports Memory - CEMESP/Unimontes, will present his Master's Dissertation publicly. His dissertation is titled "Between the uniform and the horse: a figuration of equestrian sports as an Olympic sport in Brazil (1940-1960)".


The examining board will consist of: Prof. Dr. Rafael Dias de Castro, professor of the Graduate Program in History (PPGH) at the State University of Montes Claros (Unimontes); Prof. Dr. Janice Zarpellon Mazo, professor of the Graduate Program in Human Movement Sciences (PPGCMH) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
