On September 29, 2023, the public presentation of Mariane Alves de Souza's Master's Dissertation will take place. Mariane is a member of GEHEF and the Center for Sports Memory - CEMESP/Unimontes. Her dissertation is titled "‘One meter and sixty-three and fifty kilograms of a good girl’: Body Representations of the Young Brazilian Woman in 'Garotas' of O Cruzeiro (1938-1964)."
The examining board will consist of Prof. Dr. Daniela Barsotti Santos, a professor in the Graduate Program in Psychology (PPGPsi - FURG) at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), and Prof. Dr. Rafael Dias de Castro, a professor in the Department of History and the Graduate Program in History (PPGH) at the State University of Montes Claros (Unimontes/MG).
